This may sound pretty darn weird to most of us, my daughter tells me, that just last week, a Garda in Grafton Lane approached a street musician who was busy playing his guitar.
"do you have permission to play your guitar in the street?" he asked. To which he answered, "Well no Garda, I haven't. Then the Garda answered,"In that case I must ask you to accompany me." The guitar player sat for a moment without saying a word. Then he answered, saying: "certainly Garda," he said: "What would you like to sing?"

Those family punishment rules seem so effective in the US, at least as far as family Television makes it out to be.

The truth is, that many families and kids outside of America, look to them as role models and soon find out that those: "You Are Grounded" rules are pathetic and even demeaning towards America's average exceptionally bright kids. Real-life scenarios suggest the truth is quite the opposite.
One example is the family rule is where your older son has a curfew of 10;30 p.m.yet last night he only got home at midnight then there is your rule that cellphones are to be turned off by 9.30 p.m., yet on no less than three occasions this week, you have discovered that your daughter was texting way into the early hours of the morning.
Why are your teenagers deliberately flouting your rules? Well, it seems, that their defiance may be due to something far less diabolical.
They could be unsure of the exact boundaries, the majority of teens worldwide, will push the boundaries, to see what they can get away with, accept that as a given, but the problem does not lie in that direction, where it lies, is not only where the parent sets up the boundaries, but when it comes to meeting out the remedial consequences firmly and unrelentingly when these boundaries are crossed..

No, he isn't that stupid, Wasn't he also powerful enough to tempt our lord for 40 days? Off course he was, so just who do we think we are, to see him as irrelevant?

But, let us see him for what he is, and we will be able to withstand his sustained, subtle onslaught. He is not going to tell you to stop being charitable, no, that would be way too obvious. He would tell you that you should continue with your commendable work, but just not tonight, since its cold outside, so, tomorrow when its warmer, you could start up energized, You see, he is hoping that you or the homeless person will die tonight, seriously, he doesn't know when we will die. To me that sounds more like him.

Amazing how many miss the point entirely. Even Jesus disciples never caught on. God loves his creation which is perfect beyond comparison, why on earth would he want to destroy it? However, the world which has to come to an abrupt end, is the worldly or carnal mind of man.

Perhaps the only tiny flaw which He allowed, was to grant us choices. We can choose the carnal temporal, which comes to a complete full-stop sooner or later. Or, we can choose to gather up the spiritual gifts, patience, charity, tolerance, kindness and meekness, all of which we can store up inside our minds, i.e. heaven, where no moth, rust etc can corrupt.

Strangely, when we start to ponder on these words, we come to a new and more excellent understand of the scriptures, We read about spiritual wickedness in high places which is the mind of man, is this not also the place of Jesus, crucifixion? Golgotha, "Mount of the skull? Suddenly we no longer face the impossible dilemma of seeking first, for the kingdom of heaven, not the imaginary one up in space somewhere, Who has access to a Space-shuttle?

We stop being plagued by man made demons, but see Satan as God had created him? Extremely attractive, guilty of one thing only, daring to instruct or teach his creator, Not the scaly, horned creature, artists of the children's illustrated Bible and Hollywood has created, who would be stupid enough to be deceived by him? But beware of him who comes as an angel of light, hiding right here in plain sight of everyone, who would rather believe the hocus-pocus nonsense, while he just goes right ahead tripping up the masses who refuse to believe the lie coming from the mouth of a pretty face, or hiding within the ranks of religion?

Another thing he is famous for, is lies, yet I wonder about that sometimes, is he not also embodied in the guise Of your friend, the nice guy who apparently has your best interest at heart, or the guy who tells you, that it would be okay to jump the red traffic light. since everyone else is doing it and besides, its 12 midnight, and no one is in sight etc. Which one would worry you more, the guy with the scaly skin and horns, or the well groomed, attractive one that has the so called good intentions?

Writing this article was no walk in the park for me. I had set myself this question, and started searching for an answer that was short and to the point. I needed an answer that could be put across simply but containing something of value for my readers.

Our kids today, are exposed to unparalleled amounts of morally degrading and violent practices. Our kids need spiritual and moral guidance more than at any other time before and to fast track our efforts, I had consolidated 5 areas to research and apply, which will dramatically enhance a growing child's future life exponentially.those areas have been selected, after intensive scrutiny and here they are:

1. How to be obedient- and why.
2. how to never lie- and why.
3. How to overcome fear- and why .
4. Why we have to work
5. How to forgive-and why

By researching and teaching only these keywords, every angle needed for the spiritual and social development of your young children, are covered here.

People often use raisins and grapes as treats for their cats. But that is a very bad idea. Even though it isn't really clear why, but raisins and grapes can cause kidney failure in cats. Even a very small amount can make a cat violently ill. Hyperactivity and repeated vomiting are early warning signs.
For some strange unknown reason, not all cat types show signs of illness, it would probably be best not to give your cat any grapes and to keep grapes and raisins off counter-tops and other places accessible to your cat, this could save you a whole lot
of heartache.

Just imagine how motivating it would be, if you were to receive confirmation from 100 years in the future that your present efforts, however insignificant some may have appeared to be, have helped change our planet for the better?

People who are working for the greater good often end up feeling defeated and disillusioned because they cannot see instant results from their efforts. Many start out feeling eager and inspired, wanting to make a meaningful difference, however, when nothing outwardly seems to be changing, they start to think that they aren't making any headway after all and simply give up.

When it comes to large goals that take many years to complete, we cannot allow an apparent lack of results to stop us, especially when what we have started, has a long term goal, spanning many years. There is simply too much at stake and the consequences are way too high.

Feelings of disillusionment however, can be overcome by acting from a sense of love and also a sincere desire to make a difference, and then just letting go. What I am saying, is that "letting go", is really a means of expressing your trust in that positive difference which your positive actions and thoughts have made, even if you can't see it yet.

Some of these changes may not be obvious for hundreds of years. We need to trust that one day, they will become obvious, and then, simply remain focused on taking those steps now, that feel right to you, rather than expecting immediate miracles. Just as the Butterfly theory, shows that even the most insignificant or mundane actions can have a huge impact further down the line. Everything you do therefore, will make a difference, you need to simply hold on to those inner expectations.

Seeing your actions as laying an important foundation upon which growth and progress can happen later, will allow you to see your actions as a labor of love that makes you feel good about doing what you can.

Keeping a detached and dispassionate attitude like this is the surest way to a successful outcome regardless of how long it takes to become obvious.
